Claudia Newcorn

Claudia Newcorn writes for the New Mythology Press imprint. She has three award-winning books, “Crossover,” “Dark Fire,” and “Firestar” in the “Chronicles of Feyree” series. Her books have received gold medals from the Eric Hoffer and Written Arts competitions, and were featured in “Faerie” and “Fae” magazines.

Claudia has been writing since elementary school. She started with poetry and branched off into short stories, many of which were published. Along the way, she practiced and polished her writing skills from different angles. She has been a freelance writer for magazines around the country, profiling successful artists, companies and travel destinations. She served as a popular community columnist for her regional newspaper for 13 years, and was the editor for a regional lifestyle magazine for seven years. She is also a former private helicopter pilot.

When she’s not writing, Claudia is a professional speaker and a business consultant, and runs her own consulting company. Outside of work, Claudia loves hiking, biking and exploring the great outdoors. She lives in Modesto, CA with her husband and a stray marmalade cat that adopted her and makes it his mission to shed on everything.
