Niko Devlin has risen to every challenge that the Imperial Avalonian Army has thrown him since joining to avoid jail time for beating a crime lord’s son.

But war is hell, and now Devlin must rise to a challenge possibly beyond his ability… turning a bunch of misfits, quitters, and jailbirds into a unit that His Majesty can use. All while dealing with hostility from above and below him in the chain of command.

The Devil is once again calling the tune, though, and Devlin is going to have to sing along.
