Greetings all, from June 1st to 10th, 2024, New Mythology Press has an open call for novel/trilogy submissions.
The guidelines are:
Novel length: 80-120k
Format: Word docx
Font: Times New Roman 12pt
Spacing: 1.5
What are we looking for? Fast-paced, energetic prose with characters we fall in love with. We’re open to all sorts of fantasy, including epic, modern, swords & sorcery, and many other subgenres.
We’ve discovered that for newer and less established authors, the best path to success is to publish a full trilogy (at least) in quick succession. This rapid release strategy means that we’re really looking for completed sets of three (or more) before we actually go through the publishing process.
Does this mean you have to send us a completed trilogy in June? Not at all.
What we expect for your submission is at least 20,000 words in the first novel, which will tell us if your prose matches our readership. Also, we need an outline covering your anticipated second and third books (Or more, if you have a longer series in mind). Basically, we need to know whether you have a good plan to give us a full set of books.

Do you take previously published work that’s been revised?
Yes, we’ve republished a number of series at CKP.
